TWO FRIENDS.

SLUZU is an independent art brand founded by two friends from the Netherlands.

Michael and Nick first met through a mutual friend. What started as a friendship within a larger group eventually became a close friendship of their own.

Nick already had a creative background. He previously ran a small business focused on sneaker detailing, creating custom pieces as an artist on request. Although that chapter eventually came to an end, the desire to create never did.

The idea for SLUZU came during a training session, when Nick asked Michael if he could see himself starting an art brand together. The idea stuck.

Today, SLUZU is their way of bringing that idea to life.

We create art that people can connect with on a personal level. Not only through the miniature figures and the stories they tell, but also through the objects and unconventional canvases on which the artworks are created.

Every collection has its own world. The canvas, the materials, the details and the story are all part of that world. Rather than simply putting art on a standard canvas, we look for ways to make the artwork itself feel connected to what it represents.

Our ambition is to build SLUZU into an exclusive art brand built around unique collections and collectible one-of-one pieces. A brand that encourages people to discover new subjects, learn from different worlds and find something that speaks to them personally.
